Collaging for the Climate
Disclaimer:
Everything below is a mix of what I observed and heard during the event. The goal isn’t to pinpoint "who exactly said what," but to share (usually) an outsider's view and overall perspective on these industries. I’m not here to act as a definitive firsthand source—readers should do their own research. I hope this inspires you to attend events, explore new industries, and hear what leaders are presenting. These notes combine my observations with thoughts on how things could run smoother and how ideas connect (IMO). I’m not an expert, you know? Just hanging out in the room with them. Enjoy!

There aren’t many planned events this time of year. It has been nice. It gives me a lot of time to work on my own projects. But, something like this (climate collaging) checks a lot of boxes — I can even bring my daughter! So, we’ll head over, take pics… and I think this blog will be shorter than usual, of course haha. Not one for note-taking, too much.
Why Attend: Collaging is a super great way to express yourself with things that can’t be said. It’s so fun to think about your dreams and the future, too.

NOTES FROM THE EVENT: (i’ll put my collage at the bottom as a grand reveal)
I don’t have much to write.
It was a nice idea, but not many people showed up and then the host’s dog bit my daughter’s hand.
My daughter did okay after a minute - and we actually reinacted it a few times at our house with stuffed animals and stuff.
We talked through how you can read a dog’s emotions through their ears, and how you have to be careful.
The dog was very small, so you know, if you’re going to be bit by a dog - at least its a small one.
We both laughed about it a while after… cause I’d sold her on joining me at this “park party”… only to get bit by a dog. hahhaa. It was not really a party, was it?
But we still had fun. Then we had to leave early to get it cleaned up and taken care of.
We had a nice time and its a good idea, but over 30 people signed up to attend… but only like 8 showed up.
They had magazines from the 1950’s there, too - which was kinda wild, so my collage ended up kinda nostalgic. I felt like it represented a lot. I’ll tell a few details:
I love hugs
My spirit animal is an octopus
I love bees
I want a bit more of a peaceful life - and some stability haha.
Yeah - the collage was kinda nothing new to me. But it’s fun to do.
AHH! I didn’t even take a pic of it. I’ll have to add that later.
Until next time, I wish you the motivation and success to search for opportunities around your area. Search and explore: Who is out there giving talks? There are new things happening all of the time.
Find relatable or interesting topics you like and check them out! Maybe even something hosted at a cool venue, if there’s no other reason to go. Let’s see what you can learn and discover not too far from home. 😊
