The goal isn’t to pinpoint "who exactly said what," but to share (usually) an outsider's view and overall perspective on these industries. These notes combine my observations with thoughts on how things could run smoother and how ideas connect (IMO). I’m not an expert, you know? Just hanging out in the room with them. Okay… this the first stop for the BIG EVENT THAT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD which I am attending the next few days in LA. But first, I arrived a day early, so that… I can watch skateboarding!? Maybe hahaha. It’s my favorite. Also, there is an Ai event right nearby Venice Beach. So… I’ll arrive a bit early, go watch skateboarding for an hour, then go to the Ai event and learn more. Probably they’ll serve dinner: excellent! Then probably when it’s over it’ll be too dark, the skateboarding will be over… so I’ll just chill at the hostel, work… and then wake up: watch skateboarding… and then head off to my event tomorrow. Do you wanna know what it is? THE OUT OF THIS WORLD event I’m attending (cause the first time I attended I impulsively joined the ‘lifetime membership’ of the society hahahah. I’ll tell you tomorrow. Until then, let’s learn more about Ai, okay my guy? (but surprise, I have a blog I wrote on the airplane, so I think that one broke the surprise.. that and/or the headlines)
WHY ATTEND: I may be moving to LA soon, so that’s a first. Also, I’ll ask if anyone is looking to rent a place in the future, so who knows if I can move into there. hahah. Why not, while I’m here. And besides that, from what I can tell, they’re just showing off a new product and want people to try it out, then the company will probably use that data to grow their business even better. Classic! Classic trick from the book :) So yes, I was able to book this whole trip for about $400 in total. Really! So… it’s time to go and see what we can do. I brought snacks, dressing to impress, and got my KT bag. Let’s live a little :)

Notes from the Event:
Skateboarding before and after the event was so fun. Before, I watched so many things happen. I’ll list a few:
One cute girl wearing a cool outfit kept doing literal FLIPS in roller blades with no helmet. It was incredible and they seemed to be taking amazing pictures.
One guy was doing lots of tricks and jumping up so high, but he ended up cracking… and then breaking his board.
IDK overall it was just really amazing. It’s hard and not even that fun to describe, cause its just tranquil. What else needs to be said.
After the Event:
I was the only one watching, though a silly pair of police officer stopped by.
It was fun for a bit, though I got a message on my phone that distracted me. And I ended up sending this video to a number of people. I’ll turn it into a GIF below!! Lately I learned how to do that. (Make a GIF)… but this website is going so slow, i may need to go put it at the bottom of this. Let’s try… it won’t let me attach it here easily.
And, at the hostel, I was so lucky cause some random guy gave me a banana. I said I’d eat it in the morning and he said to keep it. That was kinda cool! hahah. I’m happy to have all this random stuff. I love this place. You know?
It was fun to watch the skateboarding at night, too. Actually, first I went and watched roller blading a bit, but its totally not the same. Not on a flat surface just them dancing.
The skateboarding is incredible. Especially when you just get lost in it. It can happen… you just get lost and can watch it and lost track of time. Surely they all feel the same. Though its surprising, i’ve never seen anyone get hurt. So… idk, its just a really nice sport.
And btw, right now it feels WAY later than it is. That’s good though, maybe I’ll go to bed earlier.
But next, here are the notes from this event. It was funny to go here, I think in Seattle people are more easygoing, but people were really randomly talking to me here. Like 100%. Some guy was talking to me like he knew me and got really into it with me. I’ wrote about it below, but.. he was drunk I think? anyway, here are my notes from that event.
And btw these two girls are next to me, drinking beer, kissing, and speaking french. And I don’t speak french so it just sounds like they’re saying parts of words i know. Like they just said "saunt saunt saunt” - which sounds like the second half of crouissant. LOl. which I can’t spell. And then jsut soe other stuff. Its funny, I can see othe the window now too and there are still peopel doing roller blading. I don’t see peopel still skateboardin, but that’s harder to see. Probably someone is. It’s still pretty early. NOt even 9pm.
But these french girls are funny. Just french sounds like you think it would sound.
They are so close to me the whole time I write, like sitting here and they could sit any other chairs and they’re so close to me and i’m just like do you guys need to be SO PDA right here? Its like a huge room and they’re just here in front of me holding hands, gentle kisses, making out and drinking a huge tallboy of budweiser. omg.
i will move to another seat. But i have so much charging near me hahaha. geeze. Maybe i can play music or something to make them feel annoyed too haha. Just kidding, its not good to match bad with bad. They are just drunk. Drunk people, you know? What can youd o.
ANd one guy is looking at his phone and his head looks so painful but he doesn’t seem to mind. Humans on phones, huh?
this girl would rollerblade around with her dog chasing after her cutely. She could do ALL of the tricks -AND flips - though no helmet. but 100% dressed to impress.
NOTES FROM THE Ai EVENT:
With this image generator, you can edit very precisely on images. You can select small things, for example a sticky note that someone is holding, and change it from a rectangle into a square.
Next video is a wildlife sanctuary, an abandoned shoe... a "CAGN place, where superstition and science collide violently. Spiders and spooky stuff nd bugs. Looks like lost-ish. Like an Ai film.
Looks like the girl from "GIRLS' as the main actress and a scary manta ray. I was not paying attention. But now he's saying he remade a video last weekend
OH WOW - so he will show both... the earlier trailer and now his improved trailer. WOW. looks a lot better!
Cool. It has a lot more detail. and more intention.
It is way better and looks much more professional.

A year ago you couldn't use the same characters, or not quickly without training models.
So all of this was madde i about a day and a alf. So she started off by working on the character and they brainstmred how to make the character sheet. ANd generating the best images. Bit by bit, a look he liked and then created a bunch.
Moments when you fel you're getting close to something.
This place is pretty crowded. They add more seats for more people showing up late I was late from watching skateboarding. They have free beer and wine here too. But I don't drink. But I usually don't eat pizza too, but this time I am (as I’ve said before… when its served at these events, I will have it. But I’d prefer PIZZA JUST TO BE PIZZA) :(

Then he made an iage of a girl who lost her backpack and only had one shoe. A shoe next to it.
The guy who was sitting next to me had been hitting on me and saying strange things a bit. LIke he joked how I got pizza and gummy bears for dinner... but I told him it's all they have to eat. What do you expect?
Then eventually he stood up and had a girl standing next to him come sit hext to me. He shooed her to come and sit down. H also asked if I was going to live in Seattle longterm but I said i'm not ure. He asked whre I was from.
Okay - anyway
This one girl compliments how fast I am at typing. THen the guy come back to talk to us both and does an impression saying that we must be over here saying, “this is bullshit, what is this app?” I said - “no! This is very useful. This tool is.”
Okay so now this guy is up on there. He has the image of a bunch of hands all over a cave wall. Like a bunh of clay bloody hands. Then he shws moer examples, then shows space travel.
the clay bloody hand prints all over a cave is quite the entrance. sets a tone… shock factor achieved.
And if aliens find something, how do we communicate this. Then you realize that you may send something to a species that doesn't speak a language - so they showed 115 picture to share who we are.
Visual communication is for everyone.

His powerpoint is relaly funny just on a matter-of-fact way, cause each slide it just has like a single thing on it at a time. Like now he had a pencil, then a phone (like a cell phone), and how you can put your images to thoughts by taking pics on your phone. But now we can even use photoshop... though its hard to edit a lot. Cause there i sa learning curb.
ANd they mention how the editing tools are kinda lame these days.

Now it says good running spots in San Francisco. It's such a super power to look someting up and find out information... yet we haven't applied the task of creativity and imagination.
BTW its so hard to hear him cause this arir conditioning.
Now idk exactly what he's talking about but he's showing picutres - but he says everyone has ideas and you wish you could show others your idea. That's all we ant. We want to build an accessible tool that can help you create what you're trying to make.
IT says its incredible we can take these things and see our ideas. Start o do interior design.
Even 4 or 6 months ago this wasn't possible. It's time to reimagine reality .
NEXT this guy who was sitting next to me, just starts talking to me so much (during the workshop time, which I didn’t realize till later and I used that as a reason to just stop talking to him). He told me to listen carefully to him and he’s a profit, along those lines. So, I asked if I coudl write it down. HE said yes - what? Why? is this a blog? I said it may be, yeah. and he said, okay. Start typing. so… here’s how that went:

If someone told me exact perfection, are you kidding me. One must recognize - craz i dont get it. But recognizer and chooses course can regognize it. The top is on bitcoin. He's a gold and silver guy.
I said I’ve got that, but he asks what I like most and I said GameStop.

Then says he tells everyone what will happen. Generally don't count on gamestop. It’s over. The charts are the charts and the numbers are the numbers.
I said I like their leadership, what they’re doing with their books, what is stands for. He just starts aughing at me and then cuts me off and says its over.
Then he started mocking me and saying his discord has a gamestop guy,gamestop is over.
ANd then he started talking to me really condescendingly tells me to shut up, stop talking, stop talking and listen to him. He started going on and on about why gamestop is a bad investment.
I asked him to give me the same respect I'm giving him. Perhaps there is a world where he has studied bitcoin very carefully and I’ve put that same care into my investments too, so we can agree to disagree. But he siad the charts are the facts.
He said don't pick GameStop as your hill to die on.
I said it's not my hill it's not my only thing.
He asked what else I'm in. I said a number of thigns but I don't want to talk to you about it, now. I think we're supposed to be working.
And then I turned away from him. I was not interested in talking to him anymore. I think he was drunk and he wasn’t showing me any respect. He was being a crazy fanatic about bitcoin (which I don’t mind people like this, don’t get me wrong), saying its dropping in two weeks, but wouldn’t let somoene else come to him with that same intensitiy. So, okay -bye! Let me get to work anyway, I don’t go to these events to talk to random people liek this for too long. Right? I mean, let’s get back to work.
But then!!! (btw some of this I’m writing later as I write my blog) but then he got up and walked over near the alcohol fridge and thennnn he and his buddies all started talking. and I think he was talkign shit about me.
Now I think he's talking to these men about me over there. And I think he even said the word, "GameStop" - eew. So what, he's over there gossiping about me? Geeze. Gamestop just bought a bunch of bitcoin. LOL. Let's see, let's see.
I'm just not a fan of people hating on your investments without truly trying to listen or understand (yet push their ideal onto me unevenly). Rude, especially when they dont even take the time to show any respect. OMG now he's retelling them this story, and yelling at them about what I said? This is crazy. I think that guy is drunk or something? He's yelling at these guys - maybe talking about someting else, maybe our conversation. I think he's just being drunk.
But he is over there telling them about the conversation we had. Well. Hahha. Omg anyway. Weird. Maybe I get one or two more pieces of pizza to go, then go. Right? This is a strange hackathon. But its interesting to make this stuff. I think maybe I go soon.

IDK i like my gamestop fight. The illegal move by hedge funds is why i still fight. That's just the beginning. But justice for Gamestop can really fix the markets and make it so this world isn't a sprint and a marathon. YOu know? IT can be more peaceful maybe. Anway. I think I may go soon. That guy was reall aggressive towards me and I think I wanna go. BUt it's a little early to go... you know? Or no one even cares. This wesite is amazing. What should I try to make? IDK they defitenily make stuff not like what I make. But let's see - maybe I make something gamestop related, but not - and like not so triggering for that guy.
Gamestop is about power to the players. Video games. Human empowerment. A better future. Using your money more wisely. Being patient and noble. Integrity. Strategic and calm. Diversified. Hmm. and I have classes coming up. OMG wait! Okay one on fables and one on credit.. so let's see if it can amke an image for me about credit cards and going into debt

Alright hahahah this image creator is so great. I'm happy for it. Although I’m like what the heck re you guys making with this app? It is so good at making these edutainment things. They keep making picutres of strangling with telephone cords and stuff. But i'm like bro, you uys are literally making amazing images with this software you created. Why is it all spooky kids lost in forests missing a shoe and a backpack!? Geeze.
But I went and asked the presenter. THe guy that works for the company said you own these images totally and can use them in your content. I wanna be sure. THis is too good to be true hahaha, right? or is this just "the future"? And/or how do they profit? This is so costly to give away for free right!? I’ll ask ai later; ask around, then report back
okay - that drunk guy is so obnoxious but I think i'll get one or two more pieces of pizza. hahah. but i will get a drink and then go. This was awesome in some ways - and plenty of bullsh*t in others hahah. I dont' want to stay. I want to go get out of here. It was too much already.
But this guy is standing by the bar and he won't even remember what he said. he's drunk. but he does make me feel good for my bitcoin choices lately, if he's right!!
Okay… and then I left after that. I didn’t stay long, huh? But it was plenty. Then I just watched some more skateboarding and then started writing :) ANd btw most everyone in here is just drinking - EXCEPT another content creator. So, that’s cool to see. We are hardworking. He’s editing videos from what I can see.
Overall Event Reviews Elaborated:
Venue (3/5), this place was super bright, strange, but also not that bad. It was a good size for the turnout.
Food (2/5), undercooked costco pizza and gummy bears? I don’t get how adults are ordering food here? I don’t get this. And then there was SOOOO much alcohol. Like bottles upon endless bottles of wine, beer, all sorts. I wonder if they wanted to see which images people make when they are drunk. Right? hahah. Would be revealing, right?
Speaker Content (2/5), I mean, plenty was interesting and plenty was too crazy. So. We’ll leave it neutral-bad hahah. But I do like this app and will use it.
Networking (2.1/5), I mean, people were friendly here. People were talking to me left and right - though the quality of conversation… hm.
Likeliness to Return (2.5/5) - well… i may move to this city, so I think I’ll return to their events. But, for now, idk if i’d fly back just for this. hahah. But… if skateboarding was involved and the tickets are cheap - fine! I’m in. Sign me up :)
