The Gymnastics of Consistency (Pt. 1: New Beginnings)
Topics: Stability, Strength, Bone Preservation, Muscle, Self Worth, Posture, Resilience, Consistency, Delayed Gratification.
I’m doing a social experiment on myself through the gym. In a few ways - this first one is mini, its two months. The plan is to go indefinitely - maybe like years eyerollll so we will see how it goes for two months. It’s slow lately in the events world - not a lot to attend that I’m inspired to attend. (This is good for my schedule, though, cause my time is limited (everyone’s is) and I’m trying to keep up with all of my personal inspirations) and so I’m hard at work building the Ai course (and prepping for my BioFi Conference speech next freaking weekend!!). And working on lots of things. hahaha. I mean, let’s see what happens. Below, I wanna list the priorities aloud.
Why attend: Your body starts to decline around your 40s. Yeah. I learned that recently and I can’t get it off my mind hahahahahah. I’m like, oh great. Actions speak louder than words, wishes, and wants. UUGH. Then I saw a pic of what your bones look like without muscle support and I was like OMG i need to fix this TODAY - hahah. So I did that yesterday, toured, and BOOM - that much fitter today.

NOTES FROM THE EVENT
Okay - before I add something new to life, (A DAILY GYM COMMITMENT) I want to have the other stuff sorted out. You can’t just keep piling things onto life without settling things first. So, I want to get things DONE so I can feel more at peace.
These are my priorities right now, so the gym is for centering and stability each day. My mornigns are a good routine, but the gym can check a lot of boxes. After that, I would say my goals are:
KELLY TUTORS (before adding the gym, let’s figure out priorities - thinking aloud legit right now hahahaha)
Tie up a few loose ends of this business professionally (don’t wanna exaclty get into it) but the goal is to build KT into a strong foundation for future success. It just has a bit of ‘this, that’ and NEXT - that we have to take care of. like an order. and the first step is so annoying/boring - but i have to do it. I just need to go on an adventure to do it.
I’m like, uh - what did I commit to tomorrow? TODAY!!!!! OMG maybe after this blog I go do the one thing I have been avoiding. It’d be so appropriate. Hm. And I have time.
Work on the Ai content consistently. By the end of next weekend, I want something online that I am testing to see if my SEO skills work and I can tap into attention for Ai education for kids. And then… do people like it?
Clean up my website to get lower bounce rates. eyeroolll - but i have ideas - maybe a cute header at hte top of each event blog!!! i like it.
PrePoll Week + Poll Week Prep + my Ainnouncement (if you’re reading this, the announcement is “KT Curates” - which I THINK will be a HIT. It’s me curating Ai to help make my articles make more sense hahahaha.
Clean Up Merch to have the right descriptions, extra details. :)
Write down an order of what’s most important: that’d be - biofi speech practice (in two days online)… clean up merch… tie up loose ends of business…. Ai online w/ curriculum + one class… (cuase i think the Ai moment is when more ‘strangers’ will pop in, so I want to have this house polished)…. after that I can add on a whole new set of priorities:
clean up bounce rate with cute things on top
un-bounce rate the CRAP out of my website hahahah. :)
Work on Kelly Curates
Poll Week +
Keep building out social media posts -
KELLY THE PERSON (AT THE GYM)
Feel less socially awkward. But I want to figure out how to retrain my thinking on this and get comfortable.
Can I do it? Can i get my day together (and my daughter) so that I can be there on time? And then the days she’s not there, so its just up to me to stand up and go. Or also, will i go DAILY? What do I expect from myself?
I want to grow muscle to make my bones stronger. I saw a picture of how your bones must do ALL THE WORK when you have no muscle, so your muscles really matter. It’s inspiring me to really build my body’s strength so my bones aren’ hodling everything up and then i cripple!! Lol remember that aging event?!?!? EVERYONEEEE like EVERYONE starts to fall in their 40’s. ANd “fall” i mean - decline. uughhhh. It’s only human, I’d be playing stupid not to see itttttt.
So, my dreams for a long beautiful happy life of hard work and creating visions into reality - reporting, etc - yah!! I need a body that can handle it.
It’s time to step up.
LOL and i do’nt even wannt get marked online SEO-style for this but it turns out this gym has FNL players (rescramble those to start with N) real football players come here to work out inthe group classes- but the early morning ones apparently, so you’rel ike omg gimme a break -this place is serious hahahhaa. But, that’s good - I know that your ‘form’ and ‘postuer’ is the most important stuff in working out ;) :D so its good that even the professionals like this place. Makes me feel its quality.
SOOOO I will try out for two months and report back if I want to continue or not.
One month in, I’ll write a blog with some updates, too - how it’s going, etc. This one is kinda funny though, cause the guy who checked me in and helped me get all setup - he said I should mention him in my blog. Etc.
I am like, bro, you have no idea what you’re asking. I’ll just say it - he was like, “say my name and how i was great” and i said, okay i’ll tell tehm you said you wanted me to say your name and that you said you’re great - and he said NO! don’t write I said that. And I said, okay, I will write that you asked me not to write that , too. hahah.
You see what i mean? He said he wants to read my blog - but, he has no clue what that even means hahahaha.
Overall Event Ratings
Venue: 4/5 - this place is really nice… I don’t wanna get into too much deal but it has a good atmosphere, vibes - and it is a nice place to spend time from what I experienced, though definitely the “high five gym!” vibes. Which… kinda is my style, I love being hype hahahah. But I also like authenticity above all else, so its hard for me to be places where the energy feels faked or obligatory. Even at any level.
Food: 2/5 - I didn’t see they had any food, I’d assume not and don’t expect it - but they do have a nice water machine that can fill up my KT water bottle fast - which is impressive, cause that bottle is HUGE - but also it costs like $35 to make!! hahaha. But my merch store is so fun cause I’m just building things I need. AHHHH! hahaha Like gym shorts - omg. I’m about to do that now. (and its fun) but I need to design KT gym shorts for the gym. hahaha. Cuase I don’t live super near anywher to buy clothes + it’s fun to make these. They look great!! Promote my business!! hahahah I literalyl love it.
Speaker Content: 4/5 - The class I attended today was fun and the people were nice at the front desk, etc. It does feel a bit cheesy/fake, but… that’s every single ‘job’ - you are at work. That’s called ‘leaving your house and interacting with someone being paid to talk to you’.
Networking: 3/5 - it was a good balance. Lately I’m literally trying to be more kind, warm, open hahahahah. Cause I have been so closed off since covid - and even my divorce, and then being in shanghai. You know? And then life before htat - yeah… so… idk - hahahahha. I met some people and made an effort to learn their names. Plus I like how the coach set that tone and he was a bit of a ramblin’ man. He liked to talk and reflect at the end during stretches + throughout a little bit. So yeah! That’s my style too. But also no pressure. Was good.
Likeliness to Return - 5/5. Duhhh that’s the name of this game ;)
