Phrases, and ‘Why’?

A

  • My opinion on what “Artificial Intelligence’s” abbreviation SHOULD be, so I use it. It’s written intentionally with lowercase “i”. Why??

"AI” is said to ‘level the playing field’, but look at it’s name! It looks like AL, maybe.

From the start, this creates confusion and intimidation around an already confusing and intimidating technology to newbies. The name is hard to read! I see this as an intentional barrier to entry, alienating those skeptical of this useful tool. Giving those using it an advantage, which is not the point of its existence, right???

“AI’s” abbreviation is conveniently blamed on grammar, but grammar rules are broken all of the time - Why not here? This is a waste of time and opportunity for humanity, labeling “Ai” as “AI” creates distance.

  • An amazing icon of my youth that I love. She’s a comedic genius and was well before her time. Her work is classic, so many of her shows and comedy is incredible. She deserves better. Then and now. She is an inspiration for my work and I love the humor she always provided throughout my most formative years.

  • I write this all of the time. Usually, ATM means ‘at the moment’. This is probably really confusing since for many people (even myself a lot of the time) ATM = Automatic Teller Machine (the machine you get cash out of). So, let’s say I wrote “ATM I’m at the ATM” - it means “at the moment, I’m getting cash”. Good luck.

B

  • definition coming soon…

  • They’re acting like they’re good, but they’re bad. Foolin’ us all.

  • To refuse something. For example. I boycott makeup and owning a car.

  • My roommate years ago invented this word and it’s so awesome. It’s more than ‘whatever’, it’s ‘buttever’. Bye 😒

C

  • This is in reference to feeling like an old man - who in theory should have respect, and yet, no one is listening. It’s meta.

  • Curate means to “hand select” from data and info you have, and pick what to show others and how to organize it, based on your opinion.

For me, I like my blogs to be extremely lengthy (I do/don’t, cause it takes a long time to write, but also I don’t want to feel limited on what I can/can’t say… at least in one place in this world, hahah - sorta).

But then with Ai, I can get help shortening my posts to STILL have the same message I’m trying to share, maybe just broken up into pieces and easier to digest. Right now my blogs are 45 minutes each on average… with this, I can make 4-5 minute posts.

I can use ai to shorten my messages. NOW - let’s show proof. AI!!! LETS CURATE THIS MESSAGE TOGETHER:

Ai wrote (lol): I love writing long blogs because it's my space to say everything I want without limits. But with AI, I can now break those 45-minute reads into shorter, 4–5 minute pieces—still true to my message, just easier to take in. Let’s curate this one as proof.

  • This means things are crazy, but not extremely crazy. It’s still ‘Cyber Monday’ but it’s the afternoon, so the hype isn’t as intense.

  • I hardly understand how copyrights work, but it turns out you can use them when you make things!!! So, yeah - i’m copywritten. DWI: Deal with it.

  • The replacement of “Poll Week”. Better name, better game.

I want to copyright this phrase too. It’s so good. © 2025 Data Daily by © 2025 Kelly Tutors, all rights reserved.

  • defining definition… coming soon

  • These are publicily traded stocks held within a company’s transfer agent. If you purchase a stock and DRS book it, then it’s not held in a brokerage and can not be lent out for profit. The stocks are owned by YOU instead of a custodian.

This is not financial advice, this is a word in the glossary.

  • Deal With It.

Not to be confused with driving while intoxicated, which is too normalized in media + pop culture.

E

  • Eight is great. Often times.

  • A goal for us to FIGHT to get back to the best things from the 80’s, 90’s, and today. To feel alive again!!!

(Do you remember hearing this phrase on the radio ALL THE TIME btw? lol) The 80’s, 90’s, and today!

And now I look back, things made more sense then. More technology seemed avaialble, in some ways - (like colors could reach bolder hues, now for some reason everything is limited to pastel in threads).

There are so few concerts lately, get togethers, hanging out. Fun at the malls.

There was no social media, so people were a lot more tuned in to their surroundings.

Mix CD’s you’d listen to over and over again. Slower thinking. Playing outside for hours and hours and hours.

We need to bring back the best parts of the 80’s, 90’s, and today.

F

  • A play on words that can take over your life.

(definition defining and refining, more soon)

  • Five means you’re alive. Listen to your intuition, let it thrive.

  • Lately it’s a synonym for “stupid”, however… I previously hadn’t thought about Flat Earth for basically, my entire life. So now, into my adult years, I’ve looked into alternative shapes of Earth and I’m thinking, hmm.. some of these may make sense. Look at the “man on the moon” perhaps as a start. Just look into it. And quit thinking stuff like this (calling people names/memes) is a valid end to an argument.

  • Four means more.

  • Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.

G

  • This is the idea that if you put crap into a machine, you get crap out. If you don’t put in the work, you don’t get it back, etc.

I hear this phrase all of the time in relations to Ai and Data… but I’m also learning this phrase isn’t quite true across the board, as much as everyone likes to say it is.

This phrase is true when you have limited resources to spend.

But even with garbage data, for example, when you give garbage data to Ai, after enough time, it can find a value point and learn even within that system. We’re finding that even with garbage, values and useful lessons can be learned. So “garbage in, garbage out”, to me = “limited budget”

  • The glossary is a strategic page to feature on your website. It lists thoughtfully defined things that you want to take authority for. On the technical side, the glossary ties many of your entities together (for other inferencing) and can link together a lot of your pages. Definitions can plug into your own or external sources. Crawlers will love the interconnectedness of your website.

  • The process of taking care of your external and internal appearance so much that others notice and comment on how great you’re looking. Growing into yourself and glowing up.

  • The things you want to accomplish. These can often require hard work, persistence, and self-confidence, depending on how much you want to push yourself and go out of the norm.

  • How can an entire generation grow up on a show and not expect to be influenced? You know you love me :)

  • The ability to keep trying and not giving up. Even when their attempts continue to fail, someone with grit continues to revaluate and try new things to solve their mission. Grit is a combination of passion and persistence.

H

  • Satirical fear while longterm holding shares of a stock. “Hold” misspelled, as well.

I

  • According to me, that’s what I think. It’s not necessarily a universal opinion or fact. Like, “IMO, IMO is a great abbreviation”.

  • Interesting means you are truly surprised or intrigued with some new information.

Unless you say ‘interesting’ like a troll. I typically don’t. Though it’s trending lately.

  • IRL means things happening in real life. Off of the internet, in reality. We forget sometimes hahaha. Plus, it’s not always easy to decipher when reading a blog - what’s IRL and whats not?

J

  • JK = Just Kidding

(no joke, it really does. Just kidding. JK.)

K

  • it means “cool” but also ‘waiting’ is involved.

so, something good is happening, but you’ll have to wait indefinitely. you got a 504 error - looked it up, turns out that means it’s THEIR fault, now yours. so you wait… krrl… 🥲

  • KT.c = my nickname for KellyTutors.com.

Because KT.commm is sometihng (without all those m’s - don’t want to link it. Probably just KT . co is something to. So, KT.c is my nickname for this website when I do not want to type it all out.)

L

  • A lighthouse is not a flashlight. It observes and continues to observe. It is steady and overlooking.

A lighthouse can focus longterm on mountains and short-term on moments.

  • A character from a famous tv show. It’s a miniature horse that is both overrated and underrated all at the same time.

  • Laugh out loud - something is funny, usually surprising, too.

M

  • A near inevidable moment in financal history where bad actors are held accountable for decades of delay.

N

  • Refine

  • Times that it would be way to weird to pull out a laptop, but you still really want to take notes. Those call for The Notebook (below).

  • This is my nickname for my ‘NonLaptop Notebook’ . The nickname was obviously inspired by the heartbreakingly romantic movie, with the same name as the nickname. I just like this nickname so much. It’s so funny IMO.

O

  • One is you’ve won. Gratitude is the attitude.

P

  • The theory that the world is intentionally/untentionally getting more and more muted/pastel. From culture, film, fashion, architecture, design, etc. Look around and start to test it. What do you see? (see one of my solutions, the © Reverse Pastel Theory, below)

  • When someone seems to be purposefully acting like they are dumb.

  • Poll Week was a two-season series lasting from early 2025 - mid 2025. It was retired due to its name.

  • The celebrated time before Poll-Week.

  • © 2025 Kelly Tutors - The reality tv show (or modern-day equivalent) of my dreams.

My goal is to glamorize education and learning, again, in modern day television/media. To make a trendy tv show where teachers have students try out different projects and studnets react to how it was… like which projects were most fun, we watch it all happen. The teachers have to come up with the project to learn topics (and topics that are maybe even surprising to audiences but turns out they’re more modern and based on new education. Like looking at different shapes of earth 😂 or our history/architecture a little more… etc.. .just not the basic boring projects every has been making for a few decades.

Bring on cool, smart teachers. This would be on a variety of networks too. you know, replicas would be made and used for their narrative. EYEROLL. Even so. I think it’s a good cause to promote more education, learning, and really making learning more accessible and cool. Teachers are so exhausted and conditions are worse than ever - on purpose it seems s for reaL!!!!

I want to teach people to think for themselves and wisely and efficiency, full of purpose. So, I believe this show can be a vehicle for that.

Q

  • The letter that gets put on the back of a stock ticker when it is in bankruptcy.

R

  • An endearing nickname for the CEO of GameStop, Ryan Cohen.

  • This is my plan to reverse “Pastel Theory”. There is is a theory that the world is turning more and more pastel and I see this coming true. Look around - so much has turned pastel. We grew up in a world of joy and color. Now everything is getting more and more muted. So, over time, I want to reverse the Pastel Theory by using foot-in-the-door strategies, asking for bold ideas (like art around the city in sorta segments at a time) in simple colors, pastels. To add accents. Then, we keep it going, over time, adding more color - bringing the cities and surroundings alive.

We can do this is many industries (not that the world needs to be a neon light show) but we need to bring back the vibrance of the 80’s, 90’s, and today.

  • The Regulation SHO Threshold Securities is a list run by the SEC that you can get put on if you are in charge of buying stocks, but don’t make the purchases in time. You will get flagged and added to the Reg SHO list. However, there is no official next step.

  • It’s your time to shine. Feeling good, got energy. It’s time to be yourself and light up the room. Be it with bravery, kindness, intelligence, a good attitude… shine time is your time to shine!!!

  • Six means do your best, enough messing around, pick up sticks, and get to work.

  • The intentional misspelling of stocks.

  • Kelly Tutors’ answer to spooky creepy bedtime stories! These are peaceful, calm, and try to give justifiable reasonings for why these characters got themselves into these ridiculous circumstances in the first place, so these famous stories are actually useful lesson stuck in your mind forever… not just freaky tales. I am rewriting many stories… some are simply just happy (cause kids like that), others dive deeper into the emotional situations going on.

  • A way to communicate with others using common pictures and images.

Like 💎🙌🦍 = diamond handed ape = you are someone who loves certain stocks and do not plan on selling… maybe never ever. Your hands are diamond (not paper). And even though the media says you are dumb, like an ape… no, you aren’t.

T

  • Start again.

  • Three is me. Focus on yourself a bit extra. What do you need to check in with?

  • When something is (for example) so AMAZING, that it’s “amazing times ten!”

Or “boring times a million!” etc.

  • The day MOASS finally kicks off.

  • A reminder that we’re apparently ‘the smartest humanity has ever been’ right now and yet we still have some extremely basic problems. Our priorities make no sense, here in this futuristic time of “2025”… (does this viewpoint age me? Who cares! Look around the world. It’s time to step up our standards of living - universally.)

  • Two is you. Look at others. How can you be helpful to others around you, truly?

U

  • The sound/feeling, you know?

  • Essentially nothing can make you change your mind. You are set and soaring on your focus. You are totally into this for endless reasons.

V

  • more coming soon…

W

  • An incredible project that will hopefully return to the world.

  • A competitive, campy event that causes a few eyerolls in the community. It’s from a movie about male models.

X

  • Twitter. The website. Full of everything in the world. It’s so much and it makes you really be like, “okay, what is REAL and what isn’t?” Which then inspires you to look at the world around you, explore, learn, research, and compare.

Y

  • Excusing yourself for being a little wreckless since life is short, you only live once, so ‘go for it’!

Z

  • A nickname for the younger generation that feels a bit funny, clever, endearing - but also the sudden realization of “Infinite Jest”. We were warned of this in the book. That is a book that is so lengthy and confusing at the time, but the further you get into life, the more it clicks.
