Forty-Nine Dollar Conveyor Belt Toy
The only part of my dream I can remember was at the end. There was something I’ve never seen before. iT was liek a pathway with wooden planks on a floor with carpet. And the pathway went through a big room and took some sharp turns but always 90 degree turns. Idk if it’s like a Japanese style walkway. We have one in downtown seattle near the aquarium which was just built.
But next to the pathway were beds and it was almost liek a hotel so there were bed you could stay in next to the pathway. And my actual bed was there and then further down was this lady’s bed and her son and there were a bunch of asian tourist and they were watching as I set up this fabric, this black fabric that was a conveyer belt. And it was like a toy for kids where you’d turn it on and you could stand on it and ride down the path.
So I was setting it up on the path and then the tourists even started to help me and then one lady who was also a mom and she was asking waht it was and I said I’d turn it on, one sec. And then her son and my daughter went further away to the front of the conveyor belt. And then I found the remote and wen tot turn it on but first I pressed the wrong button so it was going to the right, almost falling off the path, then I toggled it to go left, almost too far, and then finally I got it right and got it to start then they rode down the conveyer belt together, my daughter and her son. At the end she was so angry. She looked at sometihng and was like, I can’t believe you paid $49 for this.
And I thought at first she was impressed with the price. But then she looked at me and was like, you’re doing a horrible job.
And I’m like, at what? Mothering or having a conveyor belt? And she said, mothering.
Then she walked away. And I was like. Woah. Then I called my daughter on the cell phone cause she’d gone outside through the 1st floor, I was up on the 2nd floor for all of this and she went down to the grassy area outside and I called her and I told her saying that mommy was so mean and said I’m a bad mommy. And my daughter told me I’m a good mommy.
