The holiday season is among us and it’s time to celebrate. First, the plan was to go to a ‘400 person friendsgiving’ (which required DIY communal food), but I was running too late, so I brought the food to a true cultural event!! If you read my last blog, I was a little crabby about the cultural event in disguise, so this was so fun to embrace. Let’s get started.

Why Attend: Lately, I’m considering to find more community, fun, even music!! So… here we go. I’m always curious to learn more about what’s going on in the city, enjoy celebrations, and try to be more useful and kind.

Overall Event Review: Venue: 3.9/5, Food: 5/5, Speaker Content (5/5), Networking (4/5) , Likeliness to Return (4.5/5)

Notes from the Event:

I didn’t take any notes at this event, just wasn’t the place for it. So, we’ll leave it at a collage… though I did try to find a church to start attending the next day (?). I think. Or the day after. My goal lately is to find a church and I’d even heard of a musical event, like a get together to play music in community. But when I arrived, it seemed that wasn’t going on either. So, for now its just sorta… the “figure it out” period. You know? Trying to find a new routine… self-sufficiency and consistency.
