Socks are not something we see too much in public. Sure, we see the ankles, but we rarely see socks. Why? Cause they often smell. That’s number one. Two - cause they’re more personal. They’re often for those who really see us. The ones who can see what’s going on in our lives, more than the surface/shoe level, those are the ones seeing the socks.
That’s why when people see these socks (even you the first time) the reaction may be, “What the heck? Why are they black on the bottom?”
And to be honest, I’m still not sure either. It’s what the website offers, and the fact that the black is just extra cushioning, cool to me! Though I wish it were all natural materials. This entire line. But… we can keep asking and get what we want! -
