Recognized at Sail, Though the Verdict Stands: Boats are Boring

Disclaimer: Everything below is a mix of what I observed and heard during the event. The goal isn’t to pinpoint "who exactly said what," but to share (usually) an outsider's view and overall perspective on these industries. I’m not here to act as a definitive firsthand source—readers should do their own research. I hope this inspires you to attend events, explore new industries, and hear what leaders are presenting. These notes combine my observations with thoughts on how things could run smoother and how ideas connect (IMO). I’m not an expert, you know? Just hanging out in the room with them. Enjoy.

Okay. I’m not a fan of boats. We know that. And if you don’t, well, I write it all the time. HOWEVERRRRR I suddenly got invited to a SAILING EVENT THE NEXT DAY. Going on a huge sailboat for a “fam” event… which AI says means “free trial to then recommend it to others”. I thought it was like “family” hahaha. Okay. So… Idk who invited me, but I accepted the invite and will attend this two-hour trip… I’ve never been on a sailboat in Seattle before - and not even been on a sailboat since my friend’s birthday in HIGH SCHOOL. And it rained that time. So, let’s get onto a mystery boat with mystery people and a mystery tour, and just keep living la vida loca.

Why Attend: Brah. Who is going to say “no” to a mystery sailing trip? Hahhahaha. If I go missing or never write a blog again :( Tell my daughter I love her and she is the extreme best EVER - (and DON’T EVER SELL the GME / AMC shares she’d be inheriting!!! Dividends will happen. I bet on it hardcore. And nothing in the short term is better than those!!!) But, I think I’ll be just fine, and this event is AFTER an event nearby about AI and BEFORE a second event I’ll just run late to.

Notes from the Event:

I’ll be honest, I was being a bit dramatic above, but I’m pretty sure I know where this event show came from: the Northwest Events Show list. Why? Cause we went on this boat as part of one of the days of events… but we didn’t actually set sail. So I bet they’re inviting people again? Idk if they’re inviting everybody or just a set group? Literally no clue. But I’ll try to figure it out.

So when I arrived, I found out that they came up with this idea YESTERDAY and randomly invited everyone. So, about 20 people attended from the “events” industry and then other random passengers were on the trip.

The wildest part is that a girl remembered me!! A girl who I met a month ago and talked to for like 2 minutes. Turns out we have a lot in common and I invited her to a bunch of events in the future (dancing + guitar jam)…

  • She is super into music - wants to dance more, etc… so I said, well, here are these things - why not join?

  • I’m just completley surprised she rememberd my name.

  • There was another woman on the ship who… I’ve written about before recently, but the last time I saw her was one of my last times being blackout drunk. As much as I “haven’t had alcohol for 10 years,” there were two slip-ups. Once in Shanghai and one was a brief few-week period here in Seattle, where I told myself, “its been 8 years, that’s long enough to pick it back up” _ WRONG!!! wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong WRONG. Never again.
    - So this lady, I’m super embarrassed to talk to because I get the vibes I was NUTS to her cause she also won’t make eye contact with me (at two events now) lol. But she’s still drinking, I heard her talking about wine and stuff with friends. So, her outfit was amazing, and she can control her alcohol. Me. No. That's why I quit, and even after trying to pick it back up - REFUSE. I HATE STUPID ALCOHOL. lol. Go away, weirdo alcohol. Go away.

So… one day maybe I’ll face her… but, for now, we just avoid each other - even on a small boat. hahahha.

OMG. Yeah. And even if she hadn’t been there, once again, i’m totally bored beyond belief on boats. Its just so boring. Maybe if you go on a fun adventure to cool places - even kayaking around a river or something - I like that. But just going on a random boat like in one direction for no reason and then back to shore… get me back to shore.

But the girl working there who remembered me from our brief talk (like literally she remembered my name “kelly” after a freaking 2-minute talk??) And I remember she writes poetry. She said that she wouldn’t forget (when we talked a month ago) but… I didn’t believe her. But here we are… I hope she and I become friends.

  • Lately, I’m just feeling aching/miserably lonely time to time. I want true friends. But, its hard to relate with people when I don’t liek to drink. I don’t smoke anymore. I’m super interested in metaphysical stuff, aliens, financial corruption, reptilians, global conspiracies… and learning. So… its hard to have small talk for too long with so many people and not have true, deep connections.

    • THOUGHHHH one lady who is in her 50s or 60’s from my guitar jam. She is SUPER into all of this stuff. She brought it up after I agreed we live in a simulation!! She’s super awesome. So, that was a relief. She totally believes we’re being controlled by a reptilian species - though she was more like “what can we do about it” and I'm under the belief: RESIST!! DO NOT COMPLY. DO NOT CONSENT. Lemme attach a video here just from a few days ago (though she’ll take it down eventually - its from Elizabeth April talking about how ESPN just gave an “alien drop” and literally ESPN was talking about extraterrestrials, reptilians, etc - but the way we can resist is by RESISTING and not agreeing to this evil):

Anyway, I’m patient (lol what other choice do i have?), I’m trying, I’m hosting a lot of events this summer, I’m being WAY more myself to others - even when it feels awkward (except people I was blackout in front of hahahhaa… not there yet), and I’m building the world I want to see.

ANd PS (this is an update from the next day): The lady I met earlier tonight (at the previous event) who was bored by me… guess what she just “liked” - my GAMESTOP / EBAY post on Linkedin… so… :) see? I’m worth more attention than people give me credit for. The post:

  • Dilution and collusion are easy when you lump everything in baskets. Right? Well... not if the average retail investor starts to catch on.

Wall Street can kick. Market makers and bad actors can manipulate. But their games stop working when common folk catch on. And resist. And do not comply.

For half a decade, we've watched leaders of companies with unwavering investors lead with endless conviction. We've watched in awe as incredible leaders break the system once and for all.

How? By acting with integrity to fight the normalization of Wall Street's hollow men.

The leeching of great companies. The profiting off their bankruptcies. The careless greed, eating away at potential and beloved companies.

Did you know that buying 1 shar
e ofeBay puts you ahead of ALL of eBay's leaders (board and executive officers combined) in share purchases over the last 5 years?

I stand with leaders who put their money where their mouth is. Who treat their companies with intention and respect. Who work to make things more efficient, effective, and empowering for everyone involved.
