My daughter invented the best holiday! Reverse Halloween: you walk around with a bucket of candy and then pass it out to the town! They get candy, you get huge smiles. We did it this morning before daycare. After that, I’m off to go to the most amazing venue by the water and talk about Artificial Intelligence. Lately, I have more direction than ever… feeling excited and ready to start figuring out what the heck aiedu4youth.com is.
WHY ATTEND: It’s super nice to go around the town and give gifts to everyone. We had an amazing time and so many people thought it was super clever, myself included! :)
ALSO: WHYYYY does this police officer’s wife (they were a part of this church’s “trunk or treat” party we went to the other day) have a mask at this CHILDRENS event just like the film "Escape Room” - is that what it was? The name of that movie? Hahah geeze.
I only knew, cause they decorated their car and then locked up a tiger in the back and let you bravely get candy from the bacckkkkkkkkkkk .
Lost of trunks had that theme: “get the candy if you are brave enough”. hm. Even by the passsstttoooororrrrrr (being glenda the good witch —- but i’m like, wait, isn’t the catch that she’s not that good?? or no? idk that movie is so long, last time i watched it at AMC THEATERS - for the bbbyq pulte event, i literally napped).
Playing with fear. I don’t get it.
They must not have experienced much true fear in their lives? Or too much that now they play with it? idk. I used to like doing pranks as a kid. Its true. Its a cultural thing.
We learn that its funny to make someone scared and all watch their reaction.
would love to see reverse trick or treat/etc catch on as an alternative too.
But “trunk or treats” are fun. It was our first one. This one was run by a church near a food bank/awesome thrift store and such.
See you next time.
Until next time, I wish you the motivation and success to search for opportunities around your area. Search and explore: Who is out there giving talks? There are new things happening all of the time.
Find relatable or interesting topics you like and check them out! Maybe even something hosted at a cool venue, if there’s no other reason to go. Let’s see what you can learn and discover not too far from home. 😊
