Youth/Adult Poetry Exchange + Reimaging A Passion for Fashion

First! Improv/poetry at the kid’s theater. (useful! i can write some more songs hahah. I need to write one about comics… and??? Then - It’s fashion season, right? Idk. but I have seen a lot of advertisements for companies to host their businesses i the pacific place mall (i legit read the instructions wrong for a FEEFA grant thing hahah and then applied to have a kelly tutors booth in the mall, but got denied—- well, they asked me to retry, then that was denied. but, you know… i’d rather be in the mall. Dreamers can dream. BUT! For this? Idk what is it? DIY clothing but now for sale? It looks very like “home made” style - like it reminds me of liek a 99% better looking “derelik”. You know? (that movie has so many good one-liners… didnt age AMAZINGLY, but almost). But yeah, this fashion is just like idgaf-sheak. So, that place is grand opening and MAYBE there will be a movie to see. I mean, i’m right thereeee. but. idk. lately i can not get myself to watch a single movie. Just zero interst in a single one.
Why Attend: I have my own fashion line, I love this mall A LOT (it hosts my favorite nonprofit, similarly named to my most-days-motto: dress to impress, so even you, yourself, are impressed). And, I just have seen this mall like begging for some companies to exist in it, so let’s see who shows up. This is like a 2 hour event promising food? And… yeah, so I’ll just go after the other event I go to and have some funnnnn and definitly not buy anything. Cause, legit the day after I’m going to this random free clothing event I found like a month ago - (like a clothing swap or whatever - its al i did in shanghai) and now i’m already 100% out of closet space almost/how many dresses do you need? lol. So… we’ll see if they have anything AMAZING - but… i think i wont get any more new clothes starting next year hahaha. I think I may set that as my goal for 2026. NO new clothes. Or something like that. I like those rules. LIke my “no pants” rule. I like those things cause just every now and then, it’ll catch you on a day and then you’re like, “oh crap, i’m not allowed to wear pants!?!?!?” and then it pissed you off a bit, but its liek - refreshing cuase then you have to get creative and its so low-risk/no-risk so its just like a fun annoyance to make you think a little smarter. ahahahha so yeah. I think I need a 2026 rule (besides “picking up sticks”) which is my rule for also being 36. This year is about pickign up sticks. And with that… let’s go pick up on this event already hahahah.
