A Brief Guide to the Golden Age: What Adults Owe Children + How to Save the World (By the Beloved & Esteemed @Beyond_Mythos)

Well, well, well, what do we have here? A GUEST BLOG WRITER???? Yes. Yes, indeed. A first of its kind. Well deserved, well deserved. My dear friend (currently making his way through reading - yes - EVERY ONE OF KELLY TUTORS’ BLOGS) @Beyond_Mythos graces us with his spectacular presence through this present of a blog. (Did you know I looked up “what’s a word for ‘precious and cherished because of intelligence’ and no words exist in the English language? The closest we can do is: esteemed, treasured, and revered.) Anyway - I’m thrilled and honored to host him on my site. We are working so hard to brainstorm, create amazing content for kids/the future, and problem-solve anything/everything and beyond.

Why Attend: Why have him write a blog? Well, we were discussing a book that he and I are writing together (alongside a few others) and thought something along the same lines would be good for kids to hear too… so, for now this is a simple blog, but it may turn into much more. And, without further ado… let us welcome @Beyond_Mythos thoughts :)

Notes from the Event (@Beyond_Mythos Begins):

You are a slave in a world of endless suffering.

The world is a beautiful place. It is full of wonder and, in its natural state, a place of happiness, love, peace, and reason. Think about the people you love, the peace you felt in your childhood room, the wonders and beauty, like the sky, flowers, and human ingenuity.

How did we end up in a world that is full of suffering? Our life expectancy is going down, nearly everything is getting more expensive, and sadness is spreading faster than happiness.

Reason got supplanted with a flood of lower emotions like guilt, fear, desire, anger, or pride.

Amplified by intoxication.

Intoxication creates artificial happiness, where there should be natural. Caused by drugs, like alcohol, too often connected with culture itself. Why is that?

  • Kelly Tutors addition: +80% of movies/tv (even aimed for teens!) have alcohol in them.

The easy way caused this millennia-old war against ‘reason’. And the abandonment of ‘reason’ caused the suffering.

If you want happiness, love, and peace, a world in beauty, you must abandon the easy way. You and me, we will take on the hard work. To end everyone's suffering.

  • KT Addition: challenge absolutely accepted. 💔💪💯🧡

Everyone joining us will need to become constantly sober.

  • KT addition: as someone now nearly 1 year 100% sober, turns out there’s nothing better. I’ve been lied to by media - hahaha. There’s always such a push to “party”, “drink”, “smoke”, etc. But turns out sober life is amazing and empowering. I had no clue. Of course the media makes it seem “dorky” and “lame” cause it makes you easier to control (not to sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist - hahahaha - but it’s true. We’re more likely to spend money, follow the norm, and not question things - when we’re under the influence and numbing reality and what doesn’t feel/seem right. It lowers your ability to speak from your true heart and find motivation to change yourself + the world)

There are solutions for all areas if we apply simple logic. We just need to ask the right questions.

* End the traumatization of children with loss and mistrust. Childhood needs to be pure joy, laughter, learning, and growing in an environment full of love.

  • KT Addition: love this. Agreed. 100%

* End education creating cognitive & perceptual limits, behavioral obedience, and zero-sum rivalry. We need to teach Socratic logic, critical & first-principles thinking, cumulative evidence, and participatory, direct problem solving.

  • KT Addition: Yes!! Unnecessary competition, drama. Its all a distraction and a drain of energy, attention, and focus.

* End senseless work that decreases social welfare. Work needs to increase social welfare, abandoning the work that decreases it will increase everyone's wealth alone. Purposeful work brings way more joy than not needed work. Free working power should be encouraged to increase joy, laugh, love, peace, reason and beauty.

  • KT Addition: YES!! Work that is pure, amazing, solving problems, selfless, helping the whole population - not just a small few. More happiness at work, stress-free, enjoyable, fulfilling, efficient.

* End the war on innovation. Innovation needs to be created freely without monopoly powers profiting off it and making it stagnate.\

  • KT Addition: YES - the war against innovation. Quit glamorizing Warren Buffett’s version of “perversion,” which turns out to mean: HE THINKS INNOVATION IS PERVERSE!!! TAKING RISKS TO TRY AND IMPROVE BUSINESSES AND OUTCOMES THAT BETTER THE WORLD → IS PERVERSE!?!?!?

* End money as an instrument to control people. Money needs to become a tool to distribute resources maximizing social welfare. It should be distributed with this goal, according to merit, measured by the level of consciousness of the individuals.

  • KT Addition: You notice, too, that so many people have too much money then don’t know what to do with it - so they just spend it on big homes, things to show off with (luxury cars, plastic surgery, hair/nails, excessive hobbies, luxury goods, maids/labor) - but none of that fills the gap in their hearts.

* End idiocratic democracies and republics, which always served as shadow control instruments of someone else. Ruling needs to become merit-based and based on the level of consciousness.

  • KT Additions: We need more transparency and kindness/heart in how decisions are made on behalf of the entire world.

* End the deception. The media needs to portray the best-known truth instead of controlled persuasion.

  • KT Addition: Totally. Right now its very frustrating because people jsut want to beliveve what they “trust” most and then it creates lots of tension and stress between people since each are getting influenced/agenda-based narratives.

* End the war on fun. No joke should be forbidden but humor be encouraged everywhere.

  • KT Addition: I literally love this - ALMOST 100% (mostly… hahah some jokes I’m not always a fan of - like jokes that make fun of people who are vulnerable and trapped in modern-day-slavery, like jokes about prostitutes (some of them) - but that’s me) but the “war against fun” is OUTRAGEOUS. I feel like the ways to have fun are so hard to find - and/or its all so alcohol dependent. And yes, humor should be all over the place. Why not!?!?

It is within every human to want happiness, love, peace, and reason over suffering.

You can create such a world of love and beauty by being sober, full of reason, and hard work.

KT Addition: I love this, “full of reason”. This is really what I’m relentlessly working to help with - teaching kids how amazing hard work (and work that is aimed in this values-first, wholesome, organic, well-intended direction) it pays off endlessly. In every way. It just takes more effort, slowing down, thinking long-term, and changing norms. But eventually/maybe/probably we can make the new normal. Would/will be great 🧡

I wonder if Larry Cheng, Ryan Cohen, Bill Pulte, and friends realize what an unbelievable community they’re empowering. We love them. And love what the future can become.
