I’ve cut myself off from essentially all news, social media… everything. These days, all I have is my laptop, my surroundings, my calendar of events, and time to learn. It’s intentional, my goal is to make epic content and show that I mean business. In the future, I want to do business - even with this company I invest with, Gamestop. I do not suggest anyone else invests in them, that is not what this post is about and it’d never be about that. I’m not a financial professional nor advisor. Instead, I want to capture my perspective at this point in time, especially now that I don’t have the influence of any others’ (at least not so much, not like you do with social media) and just share my thoughts and understandings of whatever they share at this next update. I’m excited about it!! :)
Why Attend: This company is a legend in the making, and I’m sure of it. Their CEO is epic - and it takes one to know one, right? I’m curious to hear how they’re building their business, quarter-by-quarter. And in the past, I used to really rely on others’ interpretations of things to make my judgements (not always, of course - plenty of decision making was PURELY from my interpretations of first-hand sources, etc). But now, I’m back to that. I want to slow down and learn… probably, (many would even be surprised to hear this) but a lot of the earnings report probably won’t even make sense to me. But, that’s easy to solve. How? Take notes, listen, and learn. Duh! :)
