AI Workshop KT Table Hosting
Disclaimer: Everything below is a mix of what I observed and heard during the event. The goal isn’t to pinpoint "who exactly said what," but to share (usually) an outsider's view and overall perspective on these industries. I’m not here to act as a definitive firsthand source—readers should do their own research. I hope this inspires you to attend events, explore new industries, and hear what leaders are presenting. These notes combine my observations with thoughts on how things could run smoother and how ideas connect (IMO). I’m not an expert, you know? Just hanging out in the room with them. Enjoy.

I was invited to host another table for this AI workshop in a nearby city. Since some of my classes are business simulators with AI integration, it seemed like a great opportunity to promote and practice my work.
Why Attend: Optimistic hopes + practice hosting a table. Next week, I will host a table for two days at a really prestigious event. With people spending ~$1000 to be there. So, it’s good to practice and work out the bugs before that. Also, the last time - last weekend - that I hosted a table with this same group, only like… 12 people attended over 4 hours, but perhaps this will have more turnout since it’s 4.5 hours AND related to AI.

Notes from the Event:
This is a fun quadruple doozie where I get to watch speeches AND host a table!!
AI for Communities and Businesses (Building Skills, Reducing Risk, and Creating Opportunity)
He’s going over AI basics in this first conversation.
He said AI can help you be more competitive
BTW, this time I’m standing IN FRONT OF my booth - not sitting behind it, like last time. I’m the only one doing this- but when I thought of an event I went to a few weeks ago, the most fun person I talked to stood in front of his table.
Also, my lines I’m saying to people are:
Well, do you have kids or do you like reading?
And even if they don’t like reading, I tell them I’m perfect for them since my stories are short.
But now I’m just eating chicken skewers. The guy talking is just talking about learning random AI stuff.
The mic was going CRAZY liek squeaking the loudest craziest ever like a horror story times 100. But it stopped so now he jsut speaks with no mic
And the artist in the “booth”/table next to me wishes she had three tables, right now, she only has two (I have one) but I don’t think they can give her three LOL. And all of the bag she carried her art in are super expensive name brands hahahah.
OH and they DID give her a 3rd table. And she nicely asked me to move my table. LOL.
SO now I need to rearrange mine btw.
Okay - so the next guy is talking but I was also just told that I will be talking soon. So… what will I talk about? I have an idea. I think I will call people up on stage after asking, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears… who knows that story?” - they’ll raise their hands. Then I’ll ask someone to tell that story. Then after they tell it, I’ll say: right?? What a crazy story is this? How about the three little pigs? Then I’ll retell that one too and point out how nuts it is.
Then I’ll tell them how I rewrote those stories and I have them over there for just $3 each - even buy 3 get one free, you can get the whole set.
In addition, I have classes for kids on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and more.
I’ce created business simulators where you get to experience 10 scenarios as the CEO of your self-decided business. You can get info over there.
I hope you all have an amazing time and please come talk to me either about how insane you think a lot of these stories are or the classes you want to sign your kids up for
AHhahah it’s the most perfect speech. It’s funny, involves others. I love it.
So far, there are twice as many people here as last time.
Now this guy in the audience is challenging the speaker - he said that most companies he deals with have robot chat bots. He walks gets the sense 5 peopel at the same time are trying to be helped - but if he needs the problem solved, he will make a home call and he has to chat instead.
BTW I’v… well, had three desserts. Way too much sugar - hahahah. I recently learned that I should only have 20g of sugar per day maximum… but these desserts dont’ have the sugar listed, so I’ll just guess (yeah right) they are 7 grams each, so I’m only over by 1 gram. But thats all my sugar for today.
And the guy in th audience says he doesn’t think chatbots will ever get smart enough
And the guy say: well its here and the shift happened 3 months ago.
When it’s my turn to speak, I will talk super loud. It’s really hard to people in here since the mic is broken.
Oh - and I’ll tell the audience I’m giving a talk at the Capital Hill library on July 8th about 8 great tools that are super simple and useful to use for AI to do image creation, music, research, management, social media, videos, and much more. So, if anyone will please join this talk then just ask for the link and I’ll provide you with it -or look at the Capitol Hill library schedule for July 8th - or just show up at noon. We’ve got room for 50, and so far only one person signed up - me. Hahaha.
Okay, so this speaker I can’t hear and he’s standing in front of his page so I can’t even see it.
One lady just came up to my table and gave me a very enthusiastic thumbs up, then bought all 4 of my books. She loves my stories as she sits with a friend and reads them. This is fun cause her friend was here last time and didn’t spend time reading my books. LOL. But now they’re hyped hahaha. She gave me some good marketing ideas, too. Like… putting my website on my books hahahaha.
But later, I realized she is trying to get me to pay for something with her, that will make her money. So its a bit of a transactional situation. Like she wants something from me and is extra hyped - though also lieks my content genuinely. I just hate the transaction-ness of modern-day conversations. Many of them.
I’ll have to send her a stripe payment invoice though, cause she forgot her wallet. Hopefully she’s not scamming me :)
This is great! So far, I have sold 8 of my books. But there is no water fountain I can find here. Insane.
Okay, this speaker is super quiet. I really can hardly hear him, but I think he’s talking about how AI can be a translator. Cover public events. Get summaries of the events.
There are 7 vendors here this time and then the catering makes it 8.
And I also offered up my books as a raffle prize item. :)
The speaker is talking about how AI can make mistakes, etc. And some stuff about digital infrastructure - how communities without internet will be left out of this.
Lots of speeches can now be in different languages, etc.
I’m getting really exhausted from these fluorescent lights. I’m super sensitive to stuff like that - (and hard to hear speeches that go on a long time) … also, I’ve been having this wild WILD conversation with my friend on Twitter who thinks that POSSIBLY roaring kitty was a PLANT!! By Warren Buffett. He’s still not totally sure.
He has some wild (and plausible) theories on this whole meme stock situation, and how things actually started back when RC tried to get on the board of Wells Fargo. But then, RC bought into GameStop a few years later. But also, this is related to Warren Buffett actually being a super evil guy. Him and Bill Gates - so says his theory. And using distractions, almost like puppets, to get people to spend their time and hype focused on other things.
I’m going to talk all about his thesis on Tuesday with my friend in our podcast.
It’s really so hard to hear these speakers too cause there’s a cooler/fridge next to me that keeps turning on and making loud white noise. So, yah. Maybe next time someone speaks I can go sit in the chairs. But also sometimes people come up to your table during the speeches and I want to answer their questions. Also, I feel like this guy has been giving a speech forever. I wonder how long he was supposed to talk. I’ll check out the schedule.
Oh seems everyone is speaking out of order.
I spoke and it was amazing. I used no mic and was just enthusiastic and fun.
I literally LOVE public speaking, cause it’s like speaking but you can get away with being even more genuinely enthusiastic than normal conversations
I was theatrical, telling jokes, goofing off with he audience and they were smiling. Storytelling, it was awesome.
My presentation went basically exactly like I planned above, too. Liek a bit improvised but also focused.
Now each of the other vendors are talking. Artists, author, insurance, legal, catering, and business communities.
I’m just over here being mind-blown that possibly/maybe DFV was a plant/distraction. The more I learn about the timeline of things… it makes perfect sense when you don’t include your emotions- though there are some loose ends that don’t quite make sense. Cognitive Dissonance hardcore over here. But he’s just come and gone a few times and made MILLIONS and even his brother said on a livestream - a few times - that he doesn’t even like RC. Wow.
Now there are some dances going on - and one of the VENDORS who was here last time came up to me and she wants to pay for her granddaughter to take my classes. AND I’ll be able to use the money she pays me to use her services - they provide you with legal advice on demand for just $50/month. This is super super great. :)
Wow, this next speaker is talking a lot but I’m just folding my books instead of taking notes UNTIL one guy in the audience raised his hand and said:
that often the white men in the meetings take over and then the korean women never really speak up much and then he gave advice back on how to help or whatever. BUT THEN a lady in the audience said to be careful because if those women get too much attention from white men they’ll not be welcomed back to the talk - if they’re in Korea. That’s part of hte culture. SO be careful. WOW what? I wonder.
Okay I’m going to to back to folding booklets.
