This movie won “Best Documentary” although it is a mockumentary.

Most of the script was improvised and the movie was made by me over two weeks in a Shanghai Film Festival.

The plot is it’s a fake home movie sent to my friend’s parents (to convince them everything is fine while she’s working overseas). But actually, she has no job, but in the movie gets a job, and just before that, she by mistake swipes an influencer ‘Evian’s’ phone…

This movie is called, “Miss Sing Something and the Magic Cat”. Because I forgot to explain that her cat was magic in the movie - and realized it at the end. And, as I said, I only had 2 weeks to throw this together, alongside my fulltime job hahahaha. Even though it was my idea from the start, for the cat to be magic 😂. So the name of the movie lets the audience know, okay: the cat must be magic. Also, the title is a play on words, relating to the entire storylineeee!!!! Enjoy!

The goal is that it’s better with each viewing. Each time you’ll start to recognize all of the jokes and notice the funny details.
