Your Kid Has a Business Idea -- Here's Why They Need Other Kid Entrepreneurs Around Them

Your kid has been talking about their idea nonstop. They want to make something, sell something, build something. You love the enthusiasm. But you're also kind of exhausted by it.

You're not alone. Kathy D. put it perfectly in her review: "This is a really fun class for my 12-year-old. He has a lot of energy and creativity; honestly as a parent it's kind of draining. It is so nice to..." (have someone else channel that energy productively).

Here's what I've learned after 12 years of teaching kid entrepreneurs: they need peers.

Why the group format matters:

1. Kids push each other.

When your kid sees another 9-year-old who already designed a logo, suddenly their own project feels more urgent. Not in a competitive way -- in an "oh wow, that's possible for ME too" way.

2. They get real feedback from people their own age.

Mom and Dad will always say "that's great, honey." Other kids will say "I wouldn't buy that." Both kinds of feedback matter, but the second kind builds business instincts.

3. It gives their creative energy a productive outlet.

Amanda C. wrote: "Such a sweet, creative teacher. My daughter LOVES it!!!" And Vasavi P. shared: "My girls look forward to this class every week!"

When kids have a weekly space to bring their ideas, they stop pestering you about it 24/7 (well, mostly) and start channeling it into actual progress.

4. They learn collaboration, not just competition.

In the Round Table, kids share resources, give each other ideas, and celebrate wins together. That's how real business communities work.

Hub of Curiosity said it simply: "Liam has really been enjoying class. It is fun and engaging!"

The truth is: you can support your kid's entrepreneurial spirit AND not be their only sounding board. That's what this class is for. A small group of creative, energetic kids building things together with a teacher who's guided students all the way to Good Morning America.
